The Build Your Wings activation was built to bring flyers back into Delta seats. Knowing the activation would be displayed in primarily digital environments (airports, trade shows, exhibitions) we went analog in design.

Guests were invited to build their own paper airplane and send it soaring for a chance to win Delta flights around the world. Against a custom mural by Chicago artist Sergio Farfan, guests attempted to land their plane through one of six LED geotags. Winners received two tickets to one of Delta’s select destinations: Austin, Boston, Mexico City, London, Shanghai, Sydney.

Our analog design eliminated high fabrication costs which, intentionally, allowed us to place the majority of the budget on the costs of prizes: Delta tickets.
